Seranote Overview
Seranote is Melatech’s AI-powered clinical dictation tool. It listens to clinician-patient consultations and generates structured clinical notes automatically — reducing documentation time and administrative burden.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”Seranote captures the conversation during a consultation and produces:
- A structured SOAP note (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan)
- A draft referral letter
- A summary for the patient record
The AI-generated notes are presented for review before being saved or exported — you always stay in control.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”- Open Seranote before the consultation begins
- Seranote listens quietly through your phone’s microphone
- After the consultation, tap Stop
- The AI processes the recording (typically 10–30 seconds)
- A structured note is presented for your review
- Edit if needed, then save or export directly to your EMR

Privacy
Section titled “Privacy”- Audio is processed in real-time and not permanently stored
- Transcription is encrypted in transit
- No audio leaves the EU
- Patients should be informed that AI note-taking is in use
Integration with Dermloop
Section titled “Integration with Dermloop”Seranote can attach a consultation note directly to a Dermloop case, giving the reviewing specialist full context without extra documentation steps.
