Setup and pairing

Quick summary:

1. Charge the Dermoscope fully (90 minutes)
2. Enable Bluetooth on your phone
3. Open Dermloop → Settings → Devices → Add Device
4. Hold the Dermoscope button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode
5. Tap the device in the list to pair

Using the Dermoscope

Dry contact

Place the Dermoscope lens directly on the skin. Best for:

• Nail unit imaging
• Areas with little hair

Gel immersion

Apply a small drop of ultrasound gel to the lens. Best for:

• Pigmented lesions
• Mucosal surfaces
• Higher sub-surface detail

Maintenance

• Clean the lens before and after each patient with the included microfibre cloth
• Do not use alcohol wipes or abrasive cleaners on the lens
• Charge regularly — do not store at 0%
• Store in the case when not in use
